Problem

Sherwin-Williams, a global leader in paints and coatings, offers a Scheduled Delivery service, both for homeowners and professional contractors, allowing customers to choose a specific date and time for their paint and supplies to be delivered to their location. This service is available for qualifying orders within a certain radius of a Sherwin-Williams store, and PRO+ members can enjoy free scheduled delivery.

Solution

Our goal was to give customers complete control over their deliveries. We wanted to make it easy for everyone, from homeowners to professional contractors, to decide how, what, when, and where they receive their paint and supplies. A key part of this was ensuring our PRO+ members knew about and fully utilized their free scheduled delivery, helping their projects run even more smoothly.

My Role

As a UX Designer on the eCommerce and Fulfillment team, I partnered with designers, UX writers, Business Analysts, and Developers to successfully design and launch this feature. My contributions included leading workshops, creating journey maps, developing wireframes and prototypes, and conducting user testing.

The Result

Going live in January 2024, Sherwin-Williams' Scheduled Delivery feature generated $7M in sales with 92% on-time deliveries.
